I had the pleasure of having Sister John Mary as my 8th grade teacher! As a, "late bloomer" who struggled to keep up, she encouraged me to work hard and be persistent. Her work inspired me to become a teacher. The life lessons she taught me resulted in my seeking further education and earning a doctoral degree from Columbia University. In my work as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent of schools, I carried her desire to serve others with me. Along my journey (46 years in education in 3 different states), I always remembered her kind and encouraging nature! Thank you Sister John! God Bless You! Albert G Roberts

Sister John Mary, I was a student at SPC and I will never forget you. I was in the choir, you were our teacher and inspiration! I can still see you rolling up your sleeves, to use your hands and arms to really get us singing! Thank you so much for your kindness, guidance, and Love!
