Dan was he was a friend, a mentor, and affected the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His leadership, work ethic, and kindness touched countless lives, and his absence will be missed.

Dan was a wonderful neighbor who became a dear friend. He loved his family, and was highly respected by my family and others. His modesty, intelligence, and quiet manner were accompanied by a smile for us whenever we would see him outdoors, walking his beloved dogs and looking after his house. We have been so lucky to have known him and Phyllis, and will miss him dearly. Our hearts go out to Phyllis, Sarah, Elizabeth & Christopher, and to Dan's brothers, sister, and all their family members. He forever will be in their hearts and ours....

Dan was a leader with great integrity and served as a excellent mentor to me at both Smiths and ITT. He provided me the CM opportunity at ITT some 20 years ago and I remain very grateful for that. Sincere condolences to Phyllis and family. Rest in peace Dan.
