Obituary of Elaine Marie Chambers

Elaine Marie Chambers passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was 89.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, she had lived in Bergenfield, NJ, and Brick, NJ before coming to Montville Township, NJ in 2011. 

Mrs. Chambers had been employed by the EBSCO Magazine Subscription Company of Tenafly for 15 years before her retirement in 1992.

A pet lover, she was also a member of the Montville Seniors, and the Parsippany Senior Citizens Club.

Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, William H. Chambers in 2008, a son, William M. Chambers in 2013, and her brother, Roger Anderson.

Survivors include her three beloved children, Lynda Raymundo of Toms River, NJ, Timothy Chambers of Toms River, NJ and Kathleen Nagurka and her husband, Gary of Montville, NJ; four grandchildren, Vanessa, Jamie, Thomas and Renee; and eight great-grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, February 7, 2025, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 12:00pm at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville, NJ. Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 12:30PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
