Obituary of Vera Pascale
Vera Pascale (nee Francavilla) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning, April 28, 2025 at Mira Vie in Montville Township, NJ. She was 97.
Born and raised in Fairfield, NJ, she had also lived in West Caldwell, NJ where she met and married her love, John J. Pascale in 1949. The couple began raising their family there, before moving to the Towaco section of Montville in 1973.
A homemaker, Vera was a consummate wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook, and her home was a place of warmth and love.
She was a longtime member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Montville and the Montville Township Seniors.
Mrs. Pascale was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, John Joseph Pascale in 1999. She was the last survivor of the nine Francavilla siblings.
Vera is survived by her three loving children, Garry Pascale and his partner, Ellen Salduti of Johnsburg, NY, Deborah Hagner and her husband, Mark of Mansfield Township, NJ, and Diane Pascale of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; two dear grandchildren, John Dillon and his wife, Trisha of Texas, and Leanne Miklasavige and her husband, James of Lake Hiawatha; and three cherished great-grandchildren, Raelynn Miklasavige and Theodore and Joshua Dillon.
At the family's request, Funeral Services and Entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Vera's memory.
