
Obituary of Chad R. Dalzell
Chadwick Russell Dalzell, affectionately known to all as Chad, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, June 7, 2025 in the Hospice at Morristown Medical Center following a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He was 43 years young.
Born on April 14, 1982 in Belleville, NJ , Chad was raised in Clifton, NJ. He had lived in Parsippany, when he met his love, the former Kristen A. Greig. They were married on October 30, 2010 and lived briefly in North Haledon, NJ, before settling in Haskell, NJ where they would raise their two children.
Chad earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from William Paterson University in 2005.
He had worked with autistic children and young adults assisting in individualized instruction and behavioral support starting at Sawtelle Learning Center in Montclair where he worked for approximately 10 years Subsequently he continued in his role of teaching life skills at Friendship House in Paramus, Alpine Learning Group in Paramus and Quest Autism Programs in Midland Park where he helped numerous young men with autism as they learned independence and developed job skills to earn gainful employment
Chad was a lover of heavy metal music, movies, books, and craft beers. He was an avid sports fan and supported all his "New York Teams:" the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks!
He was preceded in death by his dear father, Samuel "Russ" Dalzell. Survivors include his beloved wife of 15 years, Kristen A. Dalzell (nee Greig), his two cherished children, Madeline and Shane Dalzell, both at home; his loving mother, Joan Dalzell (nee Corneilson) of Parsippany, his devoted brother, Eric R. Dalzell of Parsippany; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 11:00am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Parsippany, NJ. Chad will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
