Obituary of Christian Richard Rohlff
In Loving Memory of Christian Richard Rohlff
Chris Rohlff, age 29, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2025.
He was born on February 14, 1996, in Morristown, NJ. Chris brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Chris was the beloved child of Kenneth Walter Rohlff and Donna Lynn Rohlff (née Trenschel) of Lake Hiawatha, NJ. He was a cherished sibling, friend, and confidant. Chris had a heart full of kindness and a smile so genuine, you couldn't help but smile back.
From a young age, Chris showed a passion for video games and football, especially the New York Jets. He shared his love for music, his sense of humor, and his boyish charm freely and selflessly. From 2016 to 2020, Chris served in the U.S. Army primarily based in Oahu, Hawaii.
One of Chris's most unforgettable qualities was his ability to be both strong and gentle, standing firm when it counted and soft when it mattered. His love for the State Fair, camping at Knoebels, and his pets, Nathan and Battle, was unwavering.
Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Harriet and Richard Trenschel, and his uncle, Gary Trenschel. He is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Donna Rohlff; his sisters, Carol and Catherine Rohlff; his brother and godfather, Kenneth Rohlff; and his godmother, Colleen Kidwell. He was a proud uncle to Allison and Zachary Rohlff. He shared a special bond with his many cousins, who will always treasure their memories with him. Countless family members, friends, and loved ones will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Celebration of Chris's life on Thursday, June 12, 2025, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service at 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. All are welcome to attend and share stories, photos, and memories. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 that evening.

Though our hearts are heavy, we will honor Chris by living our lives with the same compassion, courage, and love that he shared so freely.
Forever loved. Never forgotten.
