Obituary of Mukeshbhai P. Dave

Mukeshbhai P. Dave passed away suddenly Sunday morning, June 29, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, surrounded by his family. He was 74.

A native of Nadiad, Gujarat, India, he immigrated to the United States, initially settling in Rockaway, NJ. He had lived in Mount Arlington since 2017.

Mr. Dave was a sales associate with the J.C. Penny Company of Rockaway before retiring in 2009. In his earlier years, he had worked for the Government of India.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Smitaben; his beloved children, Darsit Dave and his wife, Kingal of Mount Arlington, NJ and Darsha Dave and her husband, Bhavik of Atlanta, GA; three dear siblings, Daksha Dave of Morris Plains, NJ, Amita Dave of India, and Digesh Dave of Ohio; and four cherished grandchildren, Tanav, Hritvi, Dhuanil, and Jiyansh Dave.

At the family's request, Puja Funeral Services and Cremation will be private.
