Obituary of Lynne M Mancini

Please share a memory of Lynne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lynne M. Mancini passed away peacefully on July 8th following a brief illness.

Born on March 25, 1946, in London, England, to the late Daniel and May McGarry, Lynne grew up with a sense of adventure that would one day guide her across the ocean. As a young woman, she traveled to the US and shortly after met the love of her life, Joseph Mancini. They married in 1970 and eventually settled in Montville Twp to raise a family of their own.  Lynne was a sensational homemaker and Mother.  She was blessed to stay home with the kids and be a part of their daily activities.  She cared for her family like no other.

Lynne and Joe were blessed with over 55 years together.  They enjoyed traveling and were always on the move! If they weren’t traveling to a new destination, family was visiting from Scotland.

She was a longtime parishioner of St. Pius X Church in Montville. Her faith was a source of comfort and strength. Her greatest joys were certainly her grandchildren.  The sun rose and set on the kids. She will forever be a guardian angel to her family.

She leaves beautiful memories to her husband Joseph; her son and daughter in-law Ross and Rebecca Mancini; her daughter and son in-law Dawn and Michael Ferrara; her grandchildren Brianna Mancini and Joseph and Olivia Ferrara; her brothers Daniel, Joseph (Isabelle), Edward (the late Sylvia) and Gerard McGarry; her dear sisters Christine McLellan (Duncan), Anne (Robert) Ayre; her dearest friend Barbara LaTorre who was like a sister to her; her sister and brother in-laws and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 13th from 3pm to 7pm at the S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 14th at 11am at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville. Donations in her memory may be made to the good work of the American Heart and Lung Association.
