Obituary of Shailaja Padi Reddy

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Shailaja Padi Reddy — a devoted wife, loving mother, and passionate educator whose presence was truly larger than life. Shailaja’s radiant smile, generous heart, and boundless energy lit up every room she entered, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

A gifted teacher with a deep love for mathematics, Shailaja inspired countless students during her years with the Parsippany Board of Education. Her enthusiasm for learning, coupled with her patience and compassion, made her not only an exceptional educator but also a mentor and friend to many.

Above all, Shailaja’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her heart into every moment with them, and her warmth, humor, and unwavering love created a home filled with light. Her absence leaves a profound void, yet her legacy of kindness, inspiration, and love will continue to guide and uplift all who knew her.

Shailaja is survived by her devoted husband, Sudershan, her beloved sons, Shoumik and Hrishikesh, her cherished in-law families, her loving sibling families, and an extended circle of relatives and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. 

A viewing service will be held on August 16, 2025, at 11:30 am at Lake Hiawatha Funeral Home, 60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories of Shailaja's life and legacy.
