Obituary of Emma Pompeo

Emma Pompeo, of Towaco, New Jersey, passed away on August 25, 2025 after a courageous battle with pulmonary cancer.

Born and raised in Juarez, Mexico, Emma moved to New Jersey in 1978 with her husband, Angelo, to begin a new chapter of her life. She built a meaningful career at Datascope/Maquet Cardiovascular, where she worked for 25 years—first as an administrative assistant progressing to the Executive Assistant to the CEO—before retiring in September 2021.

Emma is lovingly survived by her daughter Alessandra Medigo and her husband Anthony Medigo; her three granddaughters Ava, Aria, and Adriana; her son Vincent Pompeo and his wife Lianne Pompeo; her grandson Matthew Gallo; and her twin granddaughters Ella and Sophia Pompeo.

A funeral mass will be held for Emma on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 10 am.  The mass will be held at Saint Peter the Apostle Church, 179 Baldwin Road Parsippany, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Emma’s memory.
