Veronique loved with her whole heart, an imprint that will stay with her husband for eternity.

Veronique, loved her mother deeply and warmly accepted that love in return.

Veronique was authentic, funny and entirely herself.
Transparent and an open-hearted friend, the one you could always count on without judgement.
The meaning of the name Veronique is “True Image”. A fitting description because she was her true self in every sense of the word. She taught her children and grandson to accept everyone as they are and most of all, to be themselves.
We love you and will miss you forever. Thank you for everything mom.

Today I just learned the sudden loss of my dear friend, Vero. My heart is broken and I will miss you dearly. Thank you for always being there for me, for your kind words of advice, laugh, encouragement when I needed it the most and hospitality. You will always be in our heart. Our deepest condolences to Sudhir, Philippe, Stephanie, Mikaila, Nicole, Tobias, Alain, Valerie and William for your loss. May fond memories of Veronique bring you comfort during this hard time in your life.

I met Veronique in 1990, shortly after I began working at Bell Labs. Since I was newly hired, I was assigned to various offices as a fill-in Administrative Assistant when the regular secretaries could not be there. On one of these assignments, I shared an office with Veronique, and we immediately hit it off. We became good friends and that friendship lasted even after she left Bell Labs.
For many years Sudhir and Veronique would open their home to me and made me feel like family. They introduced me to my 2nd husband, and she was a bridesmaid and he a groomsman at my wedding. Year after year they would invite us over for New Year’s Eve parties, birthday parties, and just fun get-togethers, all of which I greatly enjoyed.
I’m sorry that I was not as good as I should have been with keeping in touch with Veronique in more recent years, but I always cherished her friendship, and I will miss her.
