Obituary of Marissa Mazzola James

Marissa Mazzola (James), 33, of Monroe, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2025. 

Marissa will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her bravery, and the deep care and love she showed to others. She had a presence that drew people in and a heart that gave endlessly.

Her passing leaves behind an ache that words cannot capture, but her spirit will live on in the stories, memories, and love she shared.

She is survived by her three daughters, Loretta, Lana and Lacey, her father Anthony Mazzola and bonus-mom Valerie Mazzola and her daughter Crystal, Brother Micheal and his Wife Kristen, nieces London and Melrose, father-in-law Theodore James, and brother-in-law Christopher “Topher” James; and a wide circle of family and friends who will never forget her. She is predeceased by her mother, Carol Ann “Candy” Mazzola.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 30th from 4-8 at the S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 10 am at the funeral home.
