Obituary of Jeanette A Zarcone

Jeanette A. Zarcone, age 100, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025.

Born in Nutley, New Jersey, Jeanette was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Vaccaro and one of four children. She grew up rooted in strong family values that guided her throughout a long and meaningful life.

Jeanette was a devoted single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her family, while also caring for her aging parents.  She relocated to Middletown, New York shortly after her daughter Deborah married and settled there.

Jeanette was a devout Catholic. Her faith gave her strength, comfort, and purpose, and it shaped the way she loved and cared for others.

Her greatest joy was always found in time spent with her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother of five grandchildren, and she cherished every moment shared with them.

Jeanette was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Deborah Markman; and her siblings, Frances Vaccaro, Mary Bellina, and Peter Vaccaro.

She is survived by her son Allan Zarcone and his wife Mary Claire; her son-in-law, Gary Markman; her cherished grandchildren, Marianne, Matthew, Christina, Amy, and Jessica Rose; her first great grandchild William “Billy” Allan Damm; as well as many dear friends and devoted caretakers who brought comfort and companionship into her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Parish, 179 Baldwin Road, Parsippany, New Jersey. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 18th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
