Obituary of Ethan DeClemente
“Always remember there was nothing worth sharing, like the love that let us share our name.”
-The Avett Brothers
With profound sadness, we share the passing of Ethan Marcello Nobile DeClemente. He was just 19 years old but will leave a lifetime of memories for those who loved him.
Ethan was raised in Montville, graduating HS in 2024. He headed to Binghamton for school and recently was attending CCM while investigating a change into the military. He admired the veterans in his life. He was knowledgeable of the history of many recent American conflicts and had a deep empathy for veterans who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Music was central to his life. He was a drummer with a love for heavy metal- fueling both his creativity and intensity. He recently developed an appreciation for vinyl records, enjoying both the sound and the experience of collecting. When not immersed in music, he could be found in his home gym, dedicated to fitness and personal health. He took pride in caring for his body. He valued strength, routine, and self-improvement.
He was also an artist at heart. There are countless sketches and doodles in the DeClemente home. He was creative and enjoyed expressing himself this way.
He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Lucia Nobile and Ben DeClemente; his brother Hunter DeClemente; his grandparents, Assunta Nobile, and Ben and Lorraine DeClemente; his Aunts and Uncles; Aunt Rose (Ralph), Uncle Frank (Maria), Aunt Susie (Sal), Aunt Vincenza (Sal), Aunt Fran (Nick), Aunt Carla (James), Uncle Vincent (Kristen) and Aunt Paula; his cousins Sofia, Marco, Carmela, Giuseppe, Michela, Gina, Raymond, Julianna, Clayton, Alexandria, Aidan, Kandan, Chastan and Teagan and Ethan Keene; and his beloved pups Mego and Baby Charlie. His paternal Grandpa Frank Nobile and his loyal canine Little Charli passed before him.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday December 28th, from 2 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 29th at 11 o'clock in the morning at St. Pius X RC Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton.
