As I was growing up, Theresa was like another sister to me, always sitting around the kitchen table or hanging out with us at a diner, sharing many holidays, and offering advice and encouragement throughout my life. It's so hard to believe I can't rely on her anymore for help remembering events from the past. She had such a memory for details, even if it was a little creative at times!
Her intelligence, sense of humor, strong character, and artistic soul made her a distinctive person and a dear cousin. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann!

My cousin Theresa was almost like a sister to me growing up, and I have many good memories of holidays spent together—especially her trouncing us in the Christmas quiz. A few months ago she mentioned the “final goodbye,” something that felt too sad to imagine at the time. I never got to see her again, but she will always live on in my memories.
