I met Patrick a few times over the recent years, as Jennifer is my sister-in-law. I remember him as a gracious host and good conversationalist. He gave us a nice tour of the family lodge. That was when Jennifer and Brad made the announcement about grandbaby coming. I was also very honored that he and Helene came to our father’s funeral a few years ago. That was very meaningful. Patrick was the epitome of the family man. One very cold Easter morning, we saw him hiding eggs for the children, and he said, "This is a warm morning, compared to Belgium."
