Obituary of Priscilla Freid

Priscilla A. Freid (nee Parnell), passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was 89.

Born on December 11, 1936, in NY State to the late Phillip and Dorothy Parnell, Priscilla was one of five daughters. She was raised in Newark and married Joseph A. Freid in 1953. In 1964, they moved to Lake Hiawatha where she raised her family. Priscilla lived in her home until relocating in 2025 to Bordentown to be closer to family.

She operated her own housekeeping business for twenty-five years, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed a good word puzzle and being the beloved Nana to all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Joseph Freid (Lily), Joanne Dangler (John, deceased), Suzanne Vozza (Edgar), William Freid (former partner, Marc) and Robert Freid (Lauren). Her grandchildren: Nicole, Valerie, Shane. Katrina, Joseph, Edgar Jr, Krystal, Carman, Jesus, Tyrone, Joziah, Nicholas, & Isabella; her great grandchildren Chase. Joey, Nicholas, Gianni, Salvatore, Grace, Hope, Declyn, Arron, Grant, Owen & Maisie,  all of whom she absolutely cherished and her sisters Helen Richie and Dorothy Jean Parnell. Her sisters Lois and Carolyn passed before her.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 5 th from, 4pm – 7 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 6 o’clock that evening.
