Obituary of Elaine G. Bellock

With heavy hearts we share the passing of Elaine G. Bellock.

Elaine of Colonia, NJ passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. Elaine was awonderful mother, sister, wife and friend. Always humble and smart, she was a strong role model who didn't hesitate to ask tough questions. She was incredibly strong, fighting cancer for more than 25 years. She loved giving and receiving warm hugs, her daily apple and an afternoon cup of tea. She often made us laugh with her dry humor and would remind you that "you can never have too much fruit."

Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Michael Bellock, in 2018, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Valarie and Lou Tomasso.

She is survived by her loving children: Susan Donnelly (Brian), Michael Bellock, and Linda Garcia (Marty); her adored grandchildren Tommy Donnelly and his fiancée Carmella Amerise, Katie Garcia and Matthew Garcia; her brother Marty Griegal (Karen); her sister Sharon Zlotnick (Ken); and many more dear relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 4 th from 4 pm to 7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday February 5 th at the funeral home. Flowers are lovely, and if anyone desires,donations to a charity of your choosing are welcomed.
