Adam Elgindy passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026 after a brief illness. He was 47 years old.
Born in Wayne, New Jersey, to Mohamed Elgindy and Connie Herbert, Adam was one of three children.
He spent his early years in Clifton, New Jersey, before moving to Pennsylvania, where he graduated
from Parkland High School in Allentown.
Adam built his life around hard work, skill, and generosity. After graduating from Lincoln Tech, he
began his career as an HVAC technician and spent the past seven years working as a project engineer
with Schneider Electric. He had a curious mindset and took pride solving problems, fixing things, and
understanding how they worked. Talented with his hands and dedicated to his craft, he earned the
respect of his coworkers and the appreciation of the customers he served. He had recently received a
promotion, an accomplishment that brought him immense pride and reflected the happiness and stability
he had found in life.
Outside of work, Adam embraced life wholeheartedly and always followed his own path. He enjoyed
building, designing, and upgrading remote-controlled vehicles and aircraft. He especially loved flying
his drones high into the sky and taking in the breathtaking views from above. He was also an archery
enthusiast and an avid motorcyclist who truly cherished the freedom of the open road. Adam enjoyed
spending time with his dog, Roxanne, whom he trained to do remarkable tricks. Their bond was
unmistakable. She was always by his side, and he loved her dearly.
Adam enjoyed music and powerful sound systems (the louder, the better!), had a great appreciation for
stand-up comedy and loved fireworks. He was the ultimate grill master and grilled anything and
everything. He enjoyed traveling and taking his nephews to amusement parks and UFC events. He found
joy in life’s simple pleasures, from time spent at the local bar with his friends to the fun of a friendly arm-wrestling competition to just relaxing after a long day in front of his backyard fire pit. An avid
gardener, he also enjoyed camping with family, had a passion for martial arts, including nunchucks, and
was a skilled pool shark.
Adam will be remembered for his loving heart, his kindness, his strength, and his loyalty. He was a
devoted son, a cherished brother, a proud uncle, and a dear friend to many. He gave more than he ever
asked for in return, always encouraging others, lifting them up, and offering help and steady support
when it was needed most. Though his loss is deeply felt, those who knew and loved him will remember
his joy, his laughter, and the lasting mark he left on every life he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Herbert (Michael); his father, Mohamed Elgindy (Miriam); his
sisters, Sherean Miller and Kristine Garcia; his brothers, Joseph Elgindy (Courtney) and Chris Garcia;
his nieces and nephews, Seaton, Kennedy, Alexander, and Nora; his aunts and uncles, cousins, close
friends and coworkers.
A memorial service will be held on April 18, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at S.J. Priola
Parsippany Funeral Home (60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034) with a luncheon to follow.
