Obituary of Linda Sharon Hilston

Linda S. Hilston passed peacefully at her home with her beloved son Robert at her side.

A woman of deep faith, Linda was a long-time parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Parish and could always be found in her familiar pew every day. Her faith guided her life. She was devoted to the Eucharist and prayed her rosary every day.

Linda took pride in her home, always keeping it warm, welcoming, and tidy. She had a gift for decorating and creating a space that reflected her spirit. She enjoyed visiting Amish country and was fortunate to be back there just a week ago.

For many years, Linda worked as a legal secretary with Donahue, Donahue, Costenbader, Strasser. She was a dedicated employee and great friend to many.

She leaves behind her loving, devoted son and best friend, Robert Hilston, along with many dear
neighbors and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Parish,
179 Baldwin Road, Parsippany. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
