Obituary of Shantilal C. Patel

Shantilal Chhaganlal Patel, age 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 15th, 2026 at around 8:35 PM.

Born on February 20th, 1936, in Khergam, India to Mr. Chhaganlal Patel and Mrs. Naomibai Patel, Shantilal lived a wonderful young life on the farmlands of rural Gujarat before his collegiate education began in the city of Anand. At Sardar Patel university, Shantilal obtained 2 Masters degrees and pursued the career of education and teaching. He successfully taught students from grade school all the way to college students.

Later, he was married to Mrs. Ushakumari Patel and had 3 children, Sandip, Rupal, and Niken who then each had children of their own making Shantilal a Grandfather to Semin, Shreyal and Michelle (Grand Daughter in-law), (Heavenly) Sheryl, and Spandan. As well as a God-granddaughter Naomi Kulkarni.

He will always be remembered for his immeasurable strength in any given situation and his unconditional love and support to everyone around him.
