Obituary of Henry Marazia

Henry Marazia, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was 62 years young. 

Henry was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, NY, where he met the love of his life, the former Florence Helen McAnany, at the age of 17. They married in 1987 and settled in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills in 1990, where they built a loving home and began their family. Henry and Flo shared 35 wonderful years together before her untimely passing in 2015 at the age of 52. 

Henry worked as a Sales Manager for Polly-O Cheese Company for 15 years – a job he truly loved and looked back on fondly. In 1998, he began a new chapter with ADP in Parsippany, where he dedicated the next 28 years of his career. His longevity at both companies reflected the loyalty, work ethic, and commitment that defined every aspect of his life.

Henry was deeply proud of his country and rarely missed an opportunity to display his patriotism. He was an avid concertgoer, a man of many hobbies, and a kid at heart who loved to crack jokes and make those around him laugh. He was active in his church and was happiest relaxing by the pool, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Above all, Henry was fiercely devoted to his family and friends. He would do anything for the people he loved, offering his time, his generosity, and a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence, Henry is survived by his cherished daughter, Nicole Marazia McCann, and her husband, Kevin McCann, of East Hanover, NJ, along with many treasured in-laws, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives he touched with his humor and kindness. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, July 17, 2026, 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2026, 11:00am at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Parsippany, NJ. Private cremation will follow in accordance with Henry's wishes.
