Kenneth T. Darling, Jr., lovingly known as "Kenny," age 62, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on August 2, 2026.
Born on August 23, 1963 in Denville, NJ, Mr. Darling was raised in Montville, NJ, and had lived in Boonton for the last 38 years.
He had worked as a Rural Carrier with the Boonton and Montville Post Offices for the last 43 years, where he loved his work and was beloved by co-workers.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth T. Darling, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly A. (nee Kelch) Darling; his devoted daughter, Megan Darling and her fiancee, Vinn; his mother, Blanche (nee Bateman) Darling; his brothers, Lars Darling (Jennifer), Gary Darling (Lisa) and Josh Darling. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Patty Greco (Anthony); and six nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Kenny's Life on Thursday, August 6, 2026, 5:00 to 7:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 NorthBeverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Cremation will be private. Kenny hated "dressing up," so please dress in your favorite casual outfit.
Kenny also did not like flowers. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial gift to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 Route 10, East Hanover, NJ 07936 in his memory.
