Obituary of George Edward Joseph Jr.

George E. Joseph Jr. passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024 at Toms River Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was 77.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mr. Joseph had been a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany for many years before moving to Toms River, NJ in 2004.

Mr. Joseph had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He had been a bus driver with Lakeland Bus Lines of Dover, NJ for 25 years before retiring 15 years ago. Previously, he had worked as a truck driver with Loubole Trucking of Belleville, NJ.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Carolyn Grace (nee Lake) Joseph; his two loving sons, Timothy J. Joseph and his wife, Sherese of Montville, NJ and Christopher Joseph and his wife, Krista of Nutley, NJ; a brother, Randy Joseph and his wife, Diane of Fort Meyers, FL.; and his four granddaughters, Brittany and Caitlyn Joseph, and Sabrina and Samantha LaMorte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, April 27, 6:00pm to 9:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Private cremation will follow.
