He began working in funeral homes at age 16 while he was still enrolled in Parsippany High School, from which he later graduated from in 1987. He went on to Drew University in Madison, NJ where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Sociology in 1991. In 1992, after being awarded membership in Mu Sigma Alpha, a Mortuary Science Honor Society, Stephen graduated Cum Laude from the American Academy/McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science in New York, New York.
Stephen Priola is heavily involved in the local community. REBECCA A. ROMANOWSKY, C.F.S.P.
Funeral Director -NJ Lic.4752
Rebecca was raised in Madison, graduating from Madison High School before continuing her education at the College of St. Elizabeth. From a young age, she felt a deep calling to work in the funeral profession, driven by her compassion and desire to help others during life’s most challenging moments. After graduating college, she began her career with a local, family-owned funeral home. During this time, she enrolled in American Academy/McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science in New York, graduating in 2006.
Rebecca was mentored by exceptional funeral directors early in her career and gained valuable experience. Seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth, she later joined another family-owned funeral home, where she continued to expand her skills and deepen her commitment to serving families.
Rebecca is excited to join Stephen and become an integral part of our community. She prides herself on creating meaningful and authentic experiences for the families, ensuring every life is honored in a unique and heartfelt way. Her personality is uplifting. Never one to “go through the motions” she finds and celebrates the uniqueness of the recently departed. Her creativity and compassion are unending.
At home, she enjoys tending to her yard, sitting by a fire pit, and being on the lake. She loves to travel with her husband Brian, and she adores her mini aussie-doodle “Oscar.” Rebecca can’t spend enough time with family and friends. And, truth be told, she’s always thinking of the family she’s serving at any given moment.
