Please share a memory of PAMELA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pamela Sue Houston (nee Fargher) passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Naples, Florida. She was 64. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she had been a longtime resident of Montville, New Jersey before moving to Bonita Springs, Florida with her now deceased husband Robert Holt. Ms. Houston was an avid tennis player and always welcomed new challenges, including riding a wave-runner with her grandchildren, kayaking, bird watching or exploring the many nature preserves of southwest Florida. She also loved to debate today's political issues. Further, she had an unquenchable desire to learn about many topics. She enjoyed her seven grandchildren, remained close to her siblings, and was always a guiding influence to her two sons. She is survived by her two sons, Seth and Temple Houston; her two daughters-in-law, Eileen and Amy; and her seven grandchildren, Samantha, Kyle, Kevin, Patrick, Colleen, Lindsey, and Christina. Pamela was one of six children born to Marvin and Joyce Fargher, along with her sisters Melody, Candace, Fawn, and Shelly, and her deceased brother Curtis. She was also predeceased by her first husband Samuel G. Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
