Dear Scweitzer Family,
We are the son and daughter-in-law of Joseph Camelotto and his wife, Rita Padian Camelotto. Father Joachim was a member of our family for years - marrying us, baptizing our babies, blessing our homes, and praying for our sick loved ones.He attended our parties and enjoyed many hours in our homes. He and Rita met at Bayley High School, and remained friends until his illness slowly took him away. She visited the Abbey Care Center a few times, until it became too difficult for her to see Ben. Rita died on December 26, 2012, and Joe followed her three weeks later. She often spoke of him and enjoyed memories of their times together. We will remember his humility, gentle spirit, and great laugh. We are so sorry that we missed the service. It would have been a honor to attend and share our thoughts and memories with his family and friends.
