Obituary of LEONARD V. RIZZOLO

Leonard V. Rizzolo Jr., 84, passed away Sunday morning, May 12, 2013 at his home in the Towaco section of Montville. Born and raised in Newark, NJ. Mr. Rizzolo had lived in Bloomfield before moving to Towaco 13 years ago. Mr. Rizzolo had served in the the United States Army. Later, he attended Panzer College and Brown University. Mr. Rizzolo was the Chief Real Estate Investment Officer at the New York State Controller's Office in New York, NY for 25 years retiring 14 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Angie (nee Girgenti); two daughters, Mary Iervolino and her husband Al of Towaco, and Laura Catalano of Lincoln Park, a sister, Marie McEntee of Sarasota, FL., and four grandchildren, Christina Angela Catalano, Stephanie Marie Catalano, Alex Leonard Iervolino and Jenna Angela Iervolino.
