Shantilal Ramdas Patel died Friday morning, May 24, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was 72.
Born in Jinaj, India, he was a longtime resident of Mumbai. He was visiting with family in the United States when he took ill.
Mr. Patel was self employed as a precious stone broker in India.
Survivors include his wife Urmila Shantilal Patel; two sons, Jignesh JP Patel of Parsippany, and Riken Patel of India; and a daughter, Trupti Nikhil Jhaveri also of India.
