Obituary of DOREEN D. ROBERTS

Doreen D. Roberts (nee Sitgreaves), 53, passed away Wednesday morning, May 29, 2013 at her home in the Pine Brook section of Montville surrounded by her loving family and following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Newark, Ms. Roberts had lived in Parsippany before moving to Pine Brook 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Parsippany High School and the County College of Morris. Ms. Roberts was an award winning realtor. She began her career with Goodman-Butler Realtors in Parsippany. It was a good indicator from the start, as she won the "Rookie of the Year" award. She later worked in the same capacity with Prudential and Coldwell Banker Realtors both in Parsippany. During her tenure, she won numerous awards including membership in the Million Dollar Sales Club, and the Circle of Excellence. Survivors include her loving parents, Wesley W. and Elda M. (nee Iarossi) Sitgreaves of Parsippany; her dear sister and caretaker, Carol Sitgreaves, her niece and nephew, Alexandria and James Berkley; her Godmother, cousin and caretaker, Adrienne Cozzolino; cousins, Scott and Tiffany Cozzolino; her supportive former husband, Thomas Porfido, and many loving friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942, would be most appreciated.
