Obituary of WILLIAM JOHN MAINENTI

William J. Mainenti, 85, passed away Friday, June 28, at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Paterson, he had lived in Newark before moving to Parsippany in 1969. Mr. Mainenti had served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a billboard painter with Gannett Outdoor in Farfield for 30 years before his retirement 20 years ago. He was a longtime member of St.Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany and the international Union of Painters and Tradesmen. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gloria R. (Née Centanni); his children, Patrice Mainenti and John W. Mainenti and his wife Lori all of Stanhope; his sister, Sylvia Mainenti of Paterson; a brother, Edward Mainenti of Bayville; and three grandchildren, Chris, Mike, and Nicole.
