Obituary of SCOTT J. RUSSELL

Scott John Russell Sr., who loved his family and had a passion for golf; a longtime resident of Parsippany, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 13, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jerome, Idaho, Scott lived in Idaho and Colorado before serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. After his discharge, Scott attended Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in chemical engineering in 1956. Upon graduation, Scott worked for Velsicol Chemical Company for several years before joining Witco Chemical Corporation in 1961, where he worked until his retirement in 1995. Scott is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jacqualine T. (nee Barzinski). He was the loving father of Scott Jr. and his wife Donna of Potomac Falls, VA., and Holly Lusardi of Sparta, NJ. He was the loving grandfather, affectionately known as "Grampy" of Arielle, Kathryn, Marcella, Andrew, James, Margaret, and Isabella. He is also survived by his sister, Fayesther Waeglin of Twin Falls, ID; and a brother William Russell of Las Vegas, NV. At the family's request all arrangements were private.
