Obituary of VIRGINIA J. FOUROUNJIAN

Virginia J. Fourounjian (nee Boyadjian) 82, passed away Monday morning, July 22, at Englewood Hospital. Mrs. Fourounjian was born in Aubagne, France. A survivor of the German occupation of France during World War II, she immigrated to the United States in 1948 settling in Weehawken, NJ. She was a resident of Ridgefield for over 40 years before moving to Denville several years ago. A homemaker, Mrs. Fourounjian was a member of the Holy Cross Armenian Guild of Union City, the Ridgefield Senior Citizens, the Assyrian Ladies Aid Society, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1969. Survivors include her children, Andrew Fourounjian and his wife Sara of Parsippany, Paul Fourounjian and his wife Margaret of Denville, and Linda Marotta and her husband Mark of Rockaway; and eight grandchildren, Alison, Nicole, Krista, Matthew, Michael, Melanie, Paul, and Amy.
