Obituary of SEYMOUR OBBIE SAPOSNIK

Seymour O. Saposnik, 82, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 10, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. Born and raised in Hartford, CT., he was a resident of Massachusetts before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1969. Mr Saposnik had worked as a product manager with Panasonic in Secaucus before retiring in 1992. Previously he worked in the same capacity with Sprague Electric in North Adams, MA. He was a member of American Legion Post 249 of Lake Hiawatha and the Jewish War Veterans, Sarasota, FL Post. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sonya R. (nee Gitlen); his children, Stephen P. Saposnik of Morris Plains and Sandra Saposnik of Rockaway, Stuart G. Saposnik and his wife Susan of Sparta, and Stacey L. Garfi and her husband Joseph of Hopatcong; a sister, Riva Dunn of Windsor, CT., and four grandsons, David, Adam and his wife Stacey, Joshua, and Zachary.
