Obituary of CHARLES J. WILCZYNSKI

Charles J. Wilczynski , 63, died suddenly Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. Born in Jersey City, he was a resident of North Arlington before coming to Montville in 1978. Mr. Wilczynski had earned his Bachelors degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford in 1972. He was an executive in the health care industry for over 30 years before retiring in 2007. During his tenure, he served at JFK Medical Center in Edison, Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy and Cabrini Medical Center in New York. Mr. Wilczynski was active as a volunteer with St. Peter's Orphanage in Denville. He was a member of the Board of Directors for over 20 years, most recently serving as president and chairman of the Finance Committee. He was also a member of the Board of Directors and past president of the NJ Healthcare Financial Management Association. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary (nee Vanderbush); two daughters, Dawn Afanador and her husband Victor of Roseland, and Pamela Wilczynski of Montville, a granddaughter, Ella Afanador; and many loving family members and in-laws. In lieu of flowers, kindly make memorial donations to St. Peters Orphanage, 170 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, NJ 07834.
