Obituary of RICHARD M. ZEGILLA

Richard M. Zegilla, 54, of Canadensis, PA, formerly of Montville, NJ, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013. Born in Washington, he was the son of Viola Zegilla of Cokeburg, PA., and the Late Richard Zegilla. Richard is also survived by his beloved partner, Jason James, his brother Michael Zegilla, many loving nieces and nephews, and a host of very dear friends who were blessed to know him and will cherish his memory. Richard was a caring, loving person who never hesitated to help another person in any way he could. In his short time here, he touched so many lives in so many ways. Richard was an avid gardener for more than 20 years; he displayed his passion for plants on his property, as well as in gifts to others. Richard was an exemplary critical care nurse at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, N.J., where he had worked the majority of his career until his retirement. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Richard's life on Saturday, November 23, 2-4pm at the S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Rd., Lake Hiawatha (973-335-4700). In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
