Henry J. Miller passed away Sunday morning, November 24, 2013 at The Veterans Administration Hospital in Lyons, NJ following a long illness. He was 66.
Born in Morristown, he was raised in Parsippany and had lived in Florida and other areas of New Jersey before returning to Parsippany 15 years ago.
Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he suffered an injury serving in the United States Marie Corps.
He had worked as a chef with various restaurants before retiring.
Mr. Miller was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10181 and American Legion Post 249 both of Parsippany.
He is survived by his wife Paula Ann Miller; his children, Theresa reinholtz of Cedar Lake Indiana, and Anthony J. Miller of Parsippany; and a step-daughter, Melissa Meola of Portland, Oregon and several grandchildren.
At the family's request, all services will be private. For those desiring, a memorial gift to either the VFW or American Legion would be appropriate.
