Obituary of THOMAS J. SULLIVAN SR.

Thomas J. Sullivan Sr., 86, died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 7, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. Born in Wallace, Idaho, Mr. Sullivan had lived in New York before moving to Montville in 1959. Thomas served in the United Sates Navy during World War II. He subsequently earned a Bachelors Degree from Gonzaga College, Spokane WA. in 1950. He had worked as a chemist with the Mennen Company in Morristown for 32 years retiring in 1990. Mr. Sullivan was a longtime member of St. Pius X R.C. Church in Montville and its Knights of Columbus Council. Preceded in death by his wife Eileen Mary (nee Skene) in 2007, he is survived by his six children, Mary Wheat of Flanders, Margaret Darash of Wayne, Ann Diaz of Bloomington, IL, Patricia Eppinger of Exton, PA, Thomas J. Sullivan Jr. of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Elizabeth Ryerson of Parsippany; and nine grandchildren.
