Romulo S. Ramos passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2014 at the Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, surrounded by his beloved family. He was 86.
Born in Mania, Philippines, he came to the United States in 1987 settling in Denville.
He earned his Bachelors Degree from the Mapua Institute of Technology in The Philippines.
Mr. Ramos had worked as a mechanical engineer in the Philippines. After immigrating to the United States, he was employed by the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany.
Mr. Ramos was a member of the Bible Church International in Randolph.
Preceded in death by his thirteen siblings, he is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Lourdes (nee Caparas) Ramos; eight beloved children, Redentor Ramos, Marilou Szabo, Romulo Ramos Jr., Susan Villarta, Maria Theresa Alfonso, Ruel Ramos, Mary Rose Ramos, and Jonard Ramos; nineteen grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bible Church International, 791 Route 10 East, Randolph, NJ 07869 would be appreciated.
