Obituary of PETER GEORGE WASKO

Peter George Wasko, Jr. passed away Sunday evening, February 9, 2014 at his home in Dover. He was 77. Born in Metuchen, he had lived in Perth Amboy and Parsippany before moving to Dover 3 yeas ago. Mr. Wasko served in the United States Navy from 1956-1957. He had a successful career as an Electrical Sub Code Inspector in the towns of Parsippany, Morristown, Carteret, and most recently Perth Amboy before becoming ill. He loved to fish, ski, travel, tell jokes and laugh. Mr. Wasko was preceded in death by his parents, Peter G. Sr. and Mary Wasko; and a sister, Mary Oliver. He is survived by his loving wife Jolanta P. Wasko; four children, Eric, Erica, Laura, and Daniel Wasko and his wife Jessica; fifteen siblings, Barbara Povlick, Ronald Wasko, Betty Iorillo, Eleanor Ihasz, Bob Wasko, Dorothy Yusko, Edward Wasko, Dennis Wasko, Kathleen Wherle, Larry Wasko, Mike Wasko, Beverly Zuppa, Judy Mecka, Connie Antreux, and Theresa Lobb; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
