Obituary of CONRAD J. NIESKENS

Conrad J. Nieskens, 77, passed away suddenly, February 24, 2014 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he was a resident of Totowa before coming to Montville 44 years ago. Mr. Nieskens had been a United States Marine Corps reservist. He was a senior design draftsman with Singer Kearfott for 40 years before retiring 15 years ago. Mr. Nieskens was a member of the Montville Reformed Church in Montville. He was a loving husband of 25 years to his wife, Ruth (nee Worth); the beloved father of Michael Nieskens and his wife Beth of Pine Brook, and Elaine J. Allsopp and her husband Michael of Brick; and a devoted "pop-pop" to his grandsons, Greg and Ryan Nieskens, and Max and Luke Allsopp. He is also survived by his nephew Jeff Kayhart and his wife Cindy and their children, Ben and Jeremy; and his best friend of 72 years, Bob Dunning. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
