Obituary of JORDAN PASTER

Jordan Paster passed away Sunday morning, March 2, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island in the presence of his family. He was 77. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, Jordan had lived in the Pine Brook section of Montville Township for over 40 years before moving to Providence, Rhode Island in 2009. He had served in the United States Navy. Mr. Paster had worked in sales with J & R Tobacco in Fairfield before retiring. Previously, he had a 30-year career in sales with Banner Metals of Stroudsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aileen Paster; and a brother, Eugene Paster. Jordan is survived by his daughter, Michelle Paster; a son, Mitchell Paster; a sister, Frances Leidman; and three brothers, Michael Paster, Irwin, Paster, and Elliott Paster. He is also survived by his companion and caretaker, Marcia Bigney.
