Lisa Compas (nee Geddes) passed away Thursday morning, March 6, 2014 at her home in Montville following a valiant battle with Ocular Melanoma. She was 42. Born in Pequannock, NJ, Mrs. Compas was a lifelong resident of Montville Township. Mrs. Compas earned an Associates Degree from the Catherine Gibbs Business School. Lisa had worked in administrator with Powerhouse Studios in East Hanover. Previously, she was a child care director with the Children's After School Center in Parsippany. She was a longtime member of the Montville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her devoted husband of 22 years, Jean B. Compas; her four cherished children, Christopher, Jordan, Brianna, and Devyn all at home; her loving parents, Walter and Elaine (nee DuBarry) Geddes; her dear sister-in-law Nakia McCreary, her special cousin Jennifer Spady and her dear friend Nicole Estrada.
