Obituary of GEORGE CRONEOS

George Croneos, 87 passed away Thursday evening, March 27, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. Born in Kymi Evias, Greece, Mr. Croneos immigrated to the United States in 1955 settling in Elizabeth. He came to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 25 years ago. Mr. Croneos had served in the the Greek Navy. He worked as a chef with various restaurants, most notably Goodman's Restaurant of Elmora in Elizabeth for 20 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie (nee Kourasmenos) in 2006. Survivors include his daughter, Effi Standler and her husband Bruce of Lake Hiawatha; a granddaughter, Deborah Buldo and her husband Joseph; and a great-grandson Giovanni Buldo.
