Obituary of CATHERINE D. PASSMORE

Catherine Dorothy Passmore (nee Bay), 97, passed away May 10, 2014 at Pine Acres Nursing Home in Madison. Born in New York, NY, she lived in Boonton before coming to the Towaco section of Montville many year ago. Mrs. Passmore had worked as a domestic and housekeeper in the Montville area for many years, retiring at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband Abraham J. Passmore in 1995, and her eight siblings, William F. Bay Jr., Louise Sheerer, Mildred Samuelson, Jack Bay, Henry Bay, Charles Bay, Edward Bay, and Margaret Ruck. Survivors include her children, Linda Lee White and her husband Walter L. Jr. of Towaco, Abraham J. Passmore Jr. and his wife Pat of Kingston, PA., and Charles R. Passmore of Towaco; and five grandchildren, Abraham Darian and Amie Passmore of CT., Casey Passmore of Boonton, Walter White III of Montville and Lisa Lynn Steeger of Waretown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montville Reformed Church, Church Lane, Montville would be most appreciated.
