Ioana Sigurici (nee Bica) passed away Sunday morning, June 15, 2014 at the Genesis/ Troy Hills Nursing Center in Parsippany . She was 84.
Born in Bucharest, Romania, she was a longtime resident before immigrating to the United States in 2005, settling in Morris Plains.
Mrs. Sigurici was a customer care representative with Optica Romana in Bucharest for many years, retiring 29 years ago.
She was a member of Izvorul Tamaduirii Romanian Orthodox Church in Rockaway.
Preceded in death by her husband Gheorge Sigurici in 1996, and her ten siblings, she is survived by her two daughters, Maria Sigurici and Nicoleta Gramescu and her husband Anton all of Morris Plains; and two gramddaughters, Antonia Hernandez and Alexandra Marie Gramescu.
