Albertina "Tina" Conicelli (nee Berg), 93, of Parsippany, passed away Monday evening, July 7, 2014 at Morris Hills Nursing Center in Morristown following a short illness. Born on May 20, 1921 in Staten Island, NY, one of eight children, she became an orphan at an early age. She and her siblings were raised by nuns at the Mission of the Immaculate Virgin. A graduate of Curtis High School, she moved to Parsippany, NJ in 1943. She was married to Daniel Conicelli Sr. for 71 years and had worked for many years in the retail clothing field. Tina was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Jr. in 2009 and by her husband, Daniel Sr. in 2010. She is survived by a sister, Vera Geromini of Boston, MA.; a daughter, Albertina "Terry" Zimmer (Charlie) of Harding, NJ; and daughter-in-law, Lona Conicelli of Long Valley. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Tina Hmiel (Tom), Lona Jesson (Carl), Carol Conicelli, Chuck Zimmer (Maureen), and Dan Zimmer (Amy); and seven great-grandchildren, Brendan, Erin and Caitlin Hmiel, Christopher Conicelli, and Jake, Charlotte, and Oliver Zimmer.
