Obituary of MORTY BEST

Morty Best passed away Monday evening, Sept. 15, 2014 surrounded by his family at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Morty was a resident of Lake Hiawatha for 48 years. Morty served in the United States Marines Corps during World War II. He was stationed in the Pacific Theatre. He was a self-employed car salesman for most of his life, retiring only recently. Morty was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Knoll Country Club. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail (nee Plotnick); a loving daughter, Caren Hunt and her husband Greg of Lake Hiawatha; and three grandchildren, Rebekka and Leo Ferrary, and Craig Hunt.
