Obituary of CARMELA ANN CICALESE

Carmela Ann Cicalese, 84, of Union, passed away suddenly, Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Union and Montville before returning to Union last year. Ms. Cicalese had worked in the cafeteria at the Wilson Avenue School in Newark before retiring. She was a member of the Montville Seniors and the Union Seniors. Survivors include her daughter, Debra A. Murphy of Union and her fiance Henry Janssen; a sister, Philomena LaManna of Lodi, and two grandchildren, Daniel Nelson Sanchez and Briana Nicole Sanchez. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, would be appreciated.
