Obituary of WILLIAM J. HERROTT

William James Herrott, Jr. passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange. He was 65. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he had been a resident of Stockholm, Vernon Township, NJ in 1978. He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War where he earned a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal for acts of valor. Mr. Herrott had worked for the National Association of Printers and Lithographers in Paramus as an expert and consultant in the area of print accounting and costing and had traveled to hundreds of printers across North America. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his son, Chris Herrott and his wife Nicole of Montville; his daughter, Ashley DeTrizio and her husband Kevin of East Rutherford; two sisters, Barbara Herrott and Joan Hatchell; and three grandchildren.
